Unpredictable effects: The effects of psychedelic mushrooms can be unpredictable,
varying from person to person and even from one experience to another. Factors such as individual
susceptibility, mental state, and environmental conditions can all influence the nature and intensity of the psychedelic experience.
Risk of a "bad trip": Some individuals may experience intense anxiety, fear, or paranoia during a psychedelic trip,
commonly referred to as a "bad trip." This can be psychologically distressing and may have lasting effects on mental well-being.
Impaired judgment and perception: Psychedelic mushrooms can impair cognitive functions, leading to distorted perceptions of reality,
impaired judgment, and compromised decision-making. This can increase the risk of accidents or engaging in risky behaviors.
Potential for hallucinogen persisting perception disorder (HPPD): In some cases, individuals who have used psychedelic substances may
experience persistent visual disturbances or hallucinations even after the drug has left their system. This condition is known as HPPD
and can have a lasting impact on daily life.
Interaction with mental health conditions: Individuals with a history of mental health issues, such as schizophrenia or bipolar disorder,
may be at an increased risk of exacerbating their conditions or experiencing psychotic episodes when using psychedelic mushrooms.
It is generally advised for people with pre-existing mental health conditions to avoid psychedelics.
Legal consequences: Possession and use of psychedelic mushrooms are illegal in many places, which can lead to legal consequences
if individuals are caught with these substances.
Potential physical risks: While the physical toxicity of psychedelic mushrooms is relatively low compared to some other substances,
there is still a risk of adverse reactions, especially if the mushrooms are misidentified and toxic species are consumed.
Uncontrolled blood pressure, unstable heart disease, untreated thyroid disease, current manic phase of bipolar disorder, or active psychotic (hallucinations or delusions) symptoms.

Most patients report significant improvement by the (3rd) third infusion and more than 80% report remission at the (4th) infusion. In addition, there are some patients that initially become aware of the improvement in mood and well-being through loved ones such as a spouse, and this can occur after only one (1) infusion. Some patients want further gains before moving into maintenance and will continue to receive infusions at a frequency of two infusions per week until they reach remission or improvement levels they deem satisfactory. Typically this is achieved by the (6th) sixth infusion We follow empirically proven protocols for bolus dosages; 6 infusions delivered at a frequency of 2-3 times per week for 2 to 3 weeks. Once patients complete this loading dose protocol, they begin the maintenance phase of treatment which is highly patient-specific. As a general rule, patients can expect to return for maintenance infusions about every 4 weeks for the first 12 months following treatment onset.
Patients will receive infusion therapy in a private room with constant mechanical monitoring of heart rate, pulse, blood oxygen saturation percentages and blood pressure. Patients on average should expect to spend 90 to 120 minutes in the office allowing for the check-in procedure, the active phase of infusion, and recovery time.
